Open Question: What do you think about high heels?

As an American guy who is working in Seoul, South Korea, i'm constantly bothered because Korean girls wear high heels everyday, for work and for school (university at least) . . I just think they look bad, and uncomfortable, and I've really been trying to appreciate them but its been 3 years and I'm still bothered by them. I mean if its a wedding, or a night out dancing, they can look sexy as a kind of special occassion costume. But for everyday living they just look terrible. But GUYS OR GIRLS - what is the attraction of heels for you? Thanks for the feedback . . I guess I just miss American women :) cuz they are much more independent. ALSO - thanks for the comment about Korean women - I don't mean to say anything negative, especially because its part of the culture and they want to look good! I want to respect that. But I really love walking, and when I meet a girl with heels its hard to feel comfortable taking a walk, even when she says it doesn't hurt . . and I teach English here!... Read More »
